The G.E.A.R. (Glick Education and Resource) program by Fay Biccard Glick Neighborhood Center (FBGNC) aims to overcome transportation barriers by providing comprehensive services directly within communities. Hosted in apartment complex clubhouses, G.E.A.R. offers wrap-around services, including rental and utility assistance, employment support, and FSSA application assistance. Focused on a core group of clients, the program integrates case management, parent education, and guidance on healthy living and financial routines.

FBGNC's G.E.A.R. program invites families to get involved in, combining social, educational, and healthy lifestyle activities to enhance sustainability. Participants receive individualized support, including financial assistance, assessments, goal setting, and financial planning.

Program establishes partnerships to seamlessly deliver resources and connections. The G.E.A.R. Program exemplifies FBGNC's commitment to community well-being by making essential services accessible and tailored to diverse needs.

Tania Ramos

GEAR Coordinator

Hello, everyone! I'm Tania Ramos, and it is my privilege to serve as the GEAR coordinator at Fay Biccard Glick Neighborhood Center. With genuine dedication to the community center's mission, I am committed to evolving and supporting to uplift our community. Through my role, I address the barriers of transportation for families and community members by reaching them where they live, making the variety of resources that we have accessible to them. Witnessing the positive impact we make together fuels my passion for this work. During my free time, I enjoy traveling to different cities/countries and learning about different cultures. You might also catch me volunteering at different social events, trying to give back to the community, which helps me stay inspired and connected. It is an absolute honor to be part of the remarkable team at Fay Biccard Glick Neighborhood Center, and I am here to support and empower each and every one of you!
